You answered your own question, though it was backwards. He's only said one name correctly, other than Angelica, and that was the scummy classmate he killed, said his name correctly then forgot him entirely.

This has long ago deviated from the (at least how I imagined it) plot!
Loner guy skills accentuates his loner tendencies, while he does want to help he gradually drifts even more into solitude, even if he's actually happy to be of use to others, and only the girls (using various methods) and the rest of the class are there for him,preventing from alienating himself!
But he's doing everything of that already by himself! He's the opposite of a loner! And yeah, kinda douchey not calling anyone by their name...
