That's true for adults who know what they're doing. Teaching the compression methods to kids would be extra dangerous (as shown in part 4 when archnobles were dropping like flies when they first learned compression, needing multiple teachers to help prevent any deaths) (part 4)
Yes because they suck at teaching it as I said most of these kids don't do anything that was discussed so they have no frame of reference for what is supposed to be done they don't see "reducing a potion" or "squeezing fruit juice" as things that reduce space. These are also poor techniques and the one that sounds like it would be good (pushing more into it which I think was Raufens) is actively dangerous because it's not reducing but forcing more into yourself again which is dangerous. It's about using he correct technique when teaching them. There's 3 ways to increase pressure 1st increase force (which the Raufens technique does) or 2nd reduce usable space (which is mynes 3rd technique of slamming the box shut) and 3rd reduce empty space and this one is the one that myne uses but none else did and is also the one that SHOULD be the safest as it doesn't add mana (that would be more difficult to control) but just controls the mana itself to increase density

Not really, or they would be doing it. Everyone has compression methods, Rozemyne's is just the best. There are uses for even low mana children (servants and priests), and more importantly, having children is inherently risky for the mother, making them precious even if you don't have more normal, emotional reasons to think so.
No, that is clearly not true, with how they deal with children as slaves and bargaining chips.
They don't do it because they don't know it can be done, all they know about how magic works is what was passed to them from the "Gods" and if what they were told was to do X then X is what they do, as shown by how they don't know what toronbe is or how it can be sued to treat the overflow of mana condition.

It could increase mana by creating the empty space in the vessel for the body to generate more mana.

That was my 3rd technique mentioned though I worded it poorly you reduce the empty space that is between the mana would take that makes the vessel at a full capacity

They find uses for their children. You may not like those uses, but they are uses. If they teach compression too soon and their kids die, well, that would be a complete waste of what they already invested. (Which includes the mother risking her life, because, again, pregnancy isn't safe, even for noble women.)

Besides, normally, mana isn't a limiting factor. Myne thought it was out of ignorance, but she was wrong. They had a shortage of nobles at the time of the story, but it is temporary. They do not, usually, have problems producing enough children with appropriate levels of mana to keep their population stable. What limits them is everything else: the number of magic tools, the feystones necessary to store the mana, in some cases even simply the money necessary to raise a noble child.

And of course they know about darkness feyplants and darkness feybeasts. We saw them use darkness feystones to treat Myne when she was upset once.
