This was such a good series that got tainted in the end. Idk if the author was salty or not, but it indeed looks like an axe. Imho, this was the point the plot started to get shitty:

In Oregairu, for example, 2 adult figures basically were the ones leading the plot with their comments about mc decisions.
If you introduce sensei as a way to lead kobayakawa and u just scrap her out of the plot with no reason then this happens. felt underwhelming how she left and it seems the author didnt know what to do from that point. Nobody was really there for kobayakawa to consult, or encourage him. he was alone. his peers arent good ppl for him to consult as he doesnt admire or respect as sensei.
