I’ve literally read like over 100 rom coms and literally none of them have a slutty side character, like you could argue Tenka from Mato Seihei but even then she done it through general attraction not because she wants to suck dick. The only generic trope is the dodgy cool one. And also Ive seen the trope before, in like anime, but this is a harem, usually they never end up with the mc because they’re a side character/harbour no romantic feelings.
Like it genuinely is that deep for me, i finally see a rom com with very interesting plot (for me) and it’s ruined by perhaps mismanaged harem. Whining is acceptable only if it makes sense, and in this case, this would’ve been a perfectly fine non-harem romcom. And we 100% know who the MC ends up with so it’s just unnecessary.
