OH!!! I thought he was worried for his bullies, but based on what you said, he was worried for her. which makes more sense! I still think he's a wuss, due to what you said. I'm still not a fan, but at least now that sentence seems less awful.Tbf, bullying in Japan is kinda insane and if this guy has been putting up with it for years, a guy with a strong sense of justice but whose been continuously beaten down MIGHT develop emotions like that.
The thing that doesn't do it for me is that there's one top dog in the academy that CLEARLY hates bullying and kicks the shit out of any bullies and the mc just goes "nah, she might get hurt" like bro I know you saw the panel where she just 1v5 a group of guys ain't no way you think she can't help you out.
I don't know why you're trying to defend yourself by, for the most part, agreeing with me. You shouldn't assume disagreement means an attack on your person.
bro said this meanwhile 80% of manhwa is pure trash while 10% of the good ones are porn and 10% of the rest is mainstreamthis is why i stopped reading Manga, this shit is too cringe and why tf are weak pathetic heroic MC still a thing? this is why Manwhas are better and sooner or later the Anime will be based on Manwha
Thank you for that link. I am loving it!No wonder the art looks familiar, it's from the same artist as The Loser Red Mage is Unmatched in Post Nut Clarity .
Fabulous, most intiguing.

Ah was gonna go here to recommend Strongest Disciple Kenichi to the ones who want weak-> strong fighting manga without romance.@RenzellXDD wasn't wrong, here. There are stories that have done weak-to-strong in superb fashion (Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi is one of the absolute best examples ever), but this one is starting off horribly. Where the parenthetically referenced Kenichi has the titular protagonist start off weak, at least that guy had a masculinely strong will; this guy, on the other hand, is so weak and milquetoast as to be submissively effeminate. The mangaka even depicts the MC clutching his fist to his chest the same way troubled female characters do at least twice. As for the MC having a spine, that is barely the case: right before he executed that kick to the bully's abdomen was the second of those chest-clutching moments, and the kick itself was done with the MC's eyes squeezed shut. He might have done what was right for someone else's sake, knowing that it'd mean pain, but virtually everything else he'd done in this chapter was steeped in feminization.
This is only the beginning, and Karin has resolved to teach him how to fight, but there's yet another potential element of feminization: the MC's victory came from the strength in his legs that Karin noted. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be noteworthy, as the human lower body is typically stronger than the upper. However, the story is presenting this (potentially, again) as his source of strength--when men are typically possessed of stronger upper bodies than women, and Karin had (as you could see) no trouble using hers. In other words, the mangaka--should he keep going in this direction--will make the MC a kick chick. It does not have to go in this direction, but--like I said--the story had Karin make special note of such strength, as if the MC didn't or couldn't have it elsewhere.
And these days, mangaka are apparently discouraged from writing physically strong (through physical development--not through magic, while having thin bodies devoid of musculature) MCs, or hate to write it themselves; masculinity is not popular in manga--there's no way the "strong, cool badass" can be done to death in manga because every MC in recent years is leveling mountains just by waving a hand at them and looking like they could have been in a visual kei band.

it's minimal and not the focus, sure we see him crushing on Miu (god damn her ass is nice ) and some girls crushing on him but mostly that's itWithout romance? Perhaps you've confused that masterpiece with another manga...

Uhh what's your point? I already read all of that. It's like the first big arc. If you're asking who I chose as best girl it's Ma's daughter (damn she's hot 🤤, more so because I like chinese dress with boob window too, and her hair looks unique) nah actually it's Garyuu XMiu is perfect, but of all the things to give special mention to, THAT'S what you chose? (Even though there is no flaw in her, to be fair.)
Sure, romance is not the focus--I agree with you on that one. That doesn't mean it's not a major part of the story, though. A similarly major reason Kenichi stuck it out through Ryouzanpaku's murderous training regimen was Miu--the story makes that clear not only pretty early on, but throughout the period during which he was too weak for that sort of training. (Another thing that makes HSDK such a great story is that Miu is obviously meant to be the most beautiful girl in the story--and thus she's never pushed out of focus for any patently inferior female. No pandering to "wider audiences" or degenerates here.) There are also a number of other elements of the story connected to their very slowly developing--and very old--connection, but they're woven skillfully into the story such that they seem as minor as you suggested.
One example of this is in Kenichi's biggest rival's eyes: that rival wanted a yin-yang pin Kenichi got from Miu as a kid, but ultimately couldn't have; he fought Kenichi for it and lost. He, much later, lost another fight to make up for Kenichi giving him that win; that, together with how his eyes ended up, is an analogous retelling of that story--all over something that started with Miu. (I have no doubt that Rimi was as jealous over that as her green eyes could suggest.)
