Also, the mom saying she'll "find a good man" kinda pissed me off, as if she didn't cheat on a good man and throw him and her daughter away once she was caught. She definitely has more 'growing up' to do if she can't even spare an apology. She probably didn't think about how the dad would feel if she took Mao, but she probably didn't care either.
Well, water under the bridge. At least everyone was able to move on in the end.

Like Radicool21 said, you had a good man. I wonder how it ended? Could you enlighten us? Ah yes you started cheating on him just after the marriage and you kept at it for years. You own your loneliness to yourself.
Tu mother is really hypocrite and very self centred. Like when she said few chapters ago something along the lines of "You cannot make someone happy if you aren't happy yourself." I nearly thought she was going to say the reason why she cheated was to be happy and to be able to make her husband and daughter happy or something. Maybe even ask for there thanks? Anyways, she didn't but still it's a good thing Mai didn't go with her. Tbh I don't even understand how Mao can have even the slightest bit of sympathy for her and feel bad for her to be lonely but I guess when it's your mother you have an other pint of view.
