There was a lot in this chapter.
So, on Hiromi. She's going through a lot right now, but her words may hold real truth in them. From the start she's been a bit weirder than others - being comfortable in the woods, and having a strange 'friendship' with that girl. Reading her confession this chapter made me think about all the previous times she said she'd kill Oda. I thought that was just friendly banter as Oda teased her, but now I'm not so sure it was just that. There was also that time recently where she aimed the shotgun at Oda, at the beach. It was played like it was just a gesture of annoyance but...
At the same time, she's clearly not OK as she confesses these feelings. She's crying. I think she's just trying to rationalize what she just did. If she really hated Oda, she would have let her turn. But still, there's a lot to really uncover about Hiromi.
I just remembered that Hideo has soaked inside a zombie, as well as been given mouth to mouth by Hiromi. But he doesn't show any signs of infection? Complete mystery here.
Finally, the change in the blob zombie... So, as Hiromi's infection starts to show again, the blob thing falls to the ground. And we see it's leaking something. Maybe pus. But maybe it's tears. Maybe it's crying. Could it be resonating with Hiromi? And suddenly the Zombies go back to being roamers. Not only that but it looks like the blob is now consuming them by force. Another mystery here.
