I knew Chiharu was obviously gonna be in love with Mei too but I'm surprised we learned about it on only her second appearance.

I think this is either gonna be poly or Chiharu is endgame. She just has the best set up, she only needs to get over her self doubt and she wins automatically, unless Mei actually manages to move on. Mei does say she doesn't feel jealous of Chiharu's BF here, but I think that's just her subconsciously picking up their relationship being fraudulent.

I still want it to be poly tho please let it be poly. All the girls have such good funny dynamics between them, it could totally work if they tried it. Please, i don't wanna see Maria or Minato cry.

I really don't want it to be Chiharu endgame, IDK. They've spent so long establishing these other cute girls and Chiharu's main trait is being a coward. Which, don't get me wrong, her behavior is a very realistic outcome of homoerotic teenage friendships, but there's not much fun in twisting towards her. Super cute Minato chapter, I love her. Kaoru and Minato forever!
