This is pretty bad tbh. Yoke is a terrible generic japanese main character, the girls are like one dimensional dolls who can only smile and praise the MC. I think it's a shame it's this bad because i like the art a lot, but it's impossible to take anything in this manga seriously, although it's not an Isekai it is definitely yet another wish fulfillment self insert trash like the generic Isekais we're used to.

Frustrated with the translation as they keep translating the main character's name as "Yoke."

I took a look at raws just to see why they would even do this. Raw uses "yu-ku" [ユーク] which isn't even close to what they've been calling him the entire time. If anything, he should be called Yuke.

For the entire time I've been reading, I thought that maybe they mistranslated his name from "Yorke" to "Yoke" since both foreign words share the same spelling in Japanese. Instead, it's because they got the YO [ヨ] and YU [ユ] mixed up and "Yuke" turned into "Yoke."

How this hasn't been proofread and fixed after 53 chapters is beyond me.

This mangaka definitely played Final Fantasy 11 before..."Refresh" magic, Gravity, Red Mage...feels pretty nostalgic

The manga tells the story of a boy and his harem slowly climbing ranks and living slice of life situations while slowly getting more intimate with eachother, it was a decent story to pass time while waiting better stories to update, but from chapter 37 onwards the story starts going downhill when the author decides to rush the MC to the final dungeon and the story becomes a train wreckage starting from chapter 47 onwards.

bruh wtf was this chapter
incredibly disgusting incredibly brutal
didn't feel like it would ever take this turn
and ofc the cute blondie gets redemption, she has a tragic backstory, i've been waiting for SImon and co to stop being psychotic
been waiting for those around them to stop enabling them,
heck part of this downward spiral exists b/c of the guild leader
the higher ups at the guild pretty much said do you really believe [insert narrative] about the dark elves?
see for these kinds of stories you'd expect a expo dump about how sorrily mistaken they were
and how their ignorance breeds gross racism
no
none
they are jus left an open lane and led down this path
and as vile as the line eyes has been, she's got it the worst out of all of them
sure the men deal with being eaten alive brutally (ofc from head first is insta death) but she gon get bleeped on repeat
i cant help but wonder why, this is just murder porn with censorship boxes or w/o doesn't matter
people have been primed to get off on this shit, wild

i wont say youre wrong mola but honestly its almost always been established in manga (almost always exceptions ofc) where orcs and goblins use females to reproduce... but this is a perfect story of karma finally after over 60 chapters. if anyone has problems with the sexual violence tag skip chapters 65 and probably 66.

I havent really minded most of this manga but holy shit that chapter 74 was painfully cringey. Oh noes a enemy we havent seen before, its immune to physical and mostly immune to magical, the only thing that works is sacred weapons and we just happen to have three sacred arrows for these three new super special monsters but they have to be hit all at once (in their weakpoint special eyeball at that) or they will never die! for fucks sake, waste of a chapter.

Throughout this whole story it always feels like there's some unnatural resistance to the MC or allies making 'progress.' Early on it's understandable as they work through the initial challenges and the starting relationships and abilities are established, but the 'progress' from there continuously feels stunted. We get glimpses into MC backstory and motivations, the girls learn new abilities and they build trust and teamwork but there's this neverending feeling that the plot is advancing faster than the protagonists are (which probably lends itself to some uncomfortable jumps in their power levels when the get victories that don't quite feel earned yet - they are able to do something they've never done before because of course they can).

I genuinely want to continue following this and hoping for the best but I'd really like to let go of all the stuff constantly hanging over them from early on in the story and see them properly flourish at a reasonable rate of growth. I'm just tired of seeing any references to the old party leader who kicked him out, when they've made it clear the dude himself was a complete dumbass.

Edit: oh and the chapter involving the orcs is really out of place. I don't say this because I can't deal with the concept of monsters that eat the men and rape the women, it's just that this level of grimdark is uncharacteristic for the setting up to that point. It certainly could be that this world has a lot of darkness and we had just not seen it but it doesn't feel like a particularly inspired way of revealing that fact.

The manga follows most of the standard tropes for the genre. Empty dolls that endlessly flatter the emotionally stunted MC. The antagonistic previous party that descends into psychopathic madness after the MC is kicked out/leaves, which ultimately leads to their grim end. There is even the reoccurring random adventurer who aggressively hits on the harem while the MC is off screen.

Honestly feels like it was getting so generic that the author's editor lit a fire under their arse around chapter 40, much to the detriment to the overall story. Everything stared to escalate, and now feels mostly out of control. Random mooks and dungeon monsters are not enough, so let's give the tricksie Goddesses and divine beasts some screen time. Then its time to cash in the justified karma card and have the previous antagonizistic party their graphic just desserts...

It's not that I expect something fresh and new, I just wish the author didn't go sweaty try hard by seeing how far they could take the clichés.

Is it the best manga I've read, not in a long shot. Is that art cute enough for the cutsie scenes to make me want to keep reading, yes. Also just curious on where the manga is going to go now. Also it's out up to Chapter 92, someone needs to update that.

The most generic and bland of the cliche of "I was kicked/quit from my guild party and I'm actually OP as shit plus I have a harem and whatever" manga, with only a spoonful of anything worth reading. But was that being said I'll give credit where credit is due, the art is pretty good.

It's.... Not..... Terrible. But not good either. It's kinda cliched and boring, however I do like how the harem is acknowledged and they love him equally. Other than that, It's kinda meh. 5/10 so far
