Minor update that while I haven't gotten a response back yet (And will likely never), author is still alive and has actually already posted an ad for their WIP game.

The timing feels so coincidental that I feel like the conspiracy theory of them also being behind Goosebumps may actually be real... But let's welcome them back regardless.

This was really a rollercoaster. It was so dumb it made my jaw unhinge and I'd be howling with laughter, then it'd go and make some salient points about justice and domestic abuse and so on. Like if you replace 'punch' with more generic stalking or sex pest stuff, it suddenly becomes legitimately applicable to shit that really does happen way too goddamn much.



And then the MC goes fred flintstone on his crush again and it's like, there's no way this can have a good ending right? He's not even reflecting on it!

And then it ends.

I don't know how to feel. I don't blame the author for feeling like he was written into a corner or whatever. Thanks for translating it though. If nothing else, this possible shitpost had me thinking more than the usual shounen isekai shit.

In case anyone wants to know what the author is actually up to today, they've resumed X posts on their other account, gotten into the gamedev sinkhole of remaking their old works and experimenting with random software as well as outsourcing, and somehow printing big money on their latest original game...

Wishlist their game on Steam now! (MTL can already be found elsewhere)
And no, they're planning to just pump effort into gamedev ideas moving forward. Super low chance we're getting this series back but I like their writing anyhow. The one gimmick they write really well is gaslighting cuties, it's in every one of their works.
