Ichinichi Guyshittingrocks returns with a nice chapter about friend dynamics where there's 3 people who aren't all friends, and more black-suit lore. Wow, does it feel like the writing's become very solid at this late stage of the manga?

I consider myself an introvert so I don't usually take the lead in conversations when there's 3 or more people. I've been complimented before about my ability to revive chats and fill in the dead-space when it does happen though. Being a competent conversationalist requires so much awareness, EQ and energy that sometimes I feel overwhelmed by it all. It's like a dance where you need to know when to step in, and you have to match everybody's rhythm while also knowing when hand the next verse off to another person.

Final chp of vol.19 comes tomorrow

ASHSHSSHSHFFHDHHS WE ARE CATCHING UP!!! I remember seeing this chapter on twitter recently and being all giddy like "can't wait to understand what's actually happening" - but I sure didn't expect it to be so profound. Miyamoto is so goated, Suga is very lucky to have him as a mentor - given how young and impressionable he is it's easy for him to lose sight of what it's like to be human in favour of being a blacksuit. And what a brilliant way to have that convo happen due to one simple premise - Ootsuki waking up when he's not supposed to.
Thank you for your hard work 🙏 you bless us so much

Totally feel the point of conversation being like a dance - some people just intuitively grasp the rhythm while others have to struggle with saying the right thing and knowing when to be quiet (and some are just offbeat and don't care, kek). For me, working in call centers and the games with multiple dialogue choices have really helped - I envision all conversations with people I don't really know as multiple dialogue choices. That comes with a side effect of sometimes pulling a blanket from under somebody previously actively involved (like with Suga) and I have to involve them back in the convo - though here Ootsuki wasn't in a position to do so...

Hell yeah. Long time coming, Tertiaritus. I thought this was going to take literal years to do.

Bet Suga's sister makes more more on Fanbox than he does as a Black Suit.
If I knew how much drawing could rake in I would've learned it a long time ago. Damndamndamn

I tried my hand at drawing as a hobby and put them out there, but my style is way too particular to be commercially successful, i am too self indulgent, i couldn't have never make it as an artist

Eventually i just stopped drawing after getting busier with life, i liked everything i made tho, which i think it is the best thing about drawing, to do it first and foremost for yourself

Now lewd drawings which are were the internet money is at, are even further away from my spot, so that was never an option for me, even if i had put in the effort to learn a proper style

So i think disposition is more important for these things, if it is a matter of learning you can do it at any time, but it really has to born from within you

You're right, the writing has gotten really good. I really love that Miyamoto is straight up telling us his stance on the blacksuit's job here, his character feels a lot more developed here than ever. It also sets up Suga's character to grow a little too. It makes me a little sad that we'll be caught up fully, but it'll be fun to look back to the beginning to see all the changes. Thanks so much for your hard work once again!!

Thanks again for all your hard work! I just realized, we're so caught up, that we're in a volume where the cover hasn't even been released yet :0

Interesting chapter that highlights one of the most bizarre and unrealistic aspects of this whole "outing" structure, the mysterious sleeping pills and logistical nightmares of dumping a body onto a park bench... It's clearly an explanation that FKMT conceived of pretty hastily, never imagining that there'd eventually be a whole 19+ volume series about people getting drugged and dumped outside for wholesome adventures. You really gotta wonder how much Teiai is paying for all these outings, they're kinda generous in a way lol.

Hollering and slapping my knee about that first sentence
They're probably laundering money with these or something

Well damn. You killed my hentai commission career before it even started Doomroar.
Yeah I agree. I can't really create things since I'm a more technical sort of person. I picked up guitar and I realized that I've never actually played around with it by experimenting with random strumming and chord combinations. Even with language - I can translate just fine. I can't write for my life.

Oops lol. That's what 130 chapters of putting the volume in does to a mofo. I didn't even know until you said it. At least I won't have to change all the chapters once the actual vol.19 comes out 😊

There's still the hentai translation commission career open for you tho! :meguusmug:
