Wow, they really killed Arla. Granted, she wasn’t a good person, and she was willing to execute Claire even after Salas was defeated. I imagine there will be more changes though. Since we won’t get the Nur arc, I expect Claire to have a more active role in the final confrontation.

The thing is now the culmination of everything that was happening in the series so far is reaching is climax. The name of the game is "Revolution" so yeah, its chaotic because this is it. The whole series was all about THIS. And if you dont remember, its this exact reason, The nobility being the enemies and being executed, is the event where Claire and all the nobles are executed.

This is what Rae has been fighting against. This is the whole point of the series.

I understand that part, but the delivery insofar has been convoluted at best. Maybe it's an adaptation medium issue, but I don't feel like the manga laid out the crux of the conflict that well.

ohhhh I see.... they are just putting more details and more characters on this but next chapter should explain everything.
But think like the original game was supposed to all of this happen while MC (Rae) is romancing one of the prince, and then during the revolution the prince ascend as a king and the nobility + Claire get executed.
They are showing more details how it happened and all, the revolutionary group working with Salas but now getting betrayed, Salas actually supporting the Empire that is taking advantage of the situation to make themselves take a piece of the pie that will be after this chaos.

Basically The Nobility is being exposed as corrupt, the Royalty is supporting the revolution because they want non of this shit, and because of that the Nobility needs to pay the price by being executed.

There are more details that now would be a spoiler but thats mostly whats going on.
