1. excellent prose(according to JOP)
2. making pointless romance drama.

That his fans will cry and swear that these dramas make his works the best romance stories of all time.
I do not know why people think romance drama make best romance stories. It's like projecting one's failed teenage romance or some shit. It's not going to repair itself unlike in fiction.

A good romance story imo should show how fend off issues. Like building trust etc. As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure.
