Thanks for scanlating. It was pretty new Territory but the story was still a little boring IMHO.

that was a fast ride... i could smell the fresh blood of the axe... im kinda sad to see this going away, but its better than dragging this out forever...
he ended up with one "harem" although i wish the relationships would have been a little more developed.
In the end, thanks for bringing this up and finishing the work.

A bit too quick, but nowadays I'm an advocate for ending stories sooner, rather than later.
Altough I would say, that this would be better with 20 more chapters

Hehe, more like mass murder for freedom is not allowed. Her logic had so many holes in it.

Step 1. Murder humans
Step 2: Riot
Step 3: We independent

Lol. As if mass murder ever helped independence. It's not that simple, or East German terrorists would have freed East Germany from the communist bloc way before the Berlin wall fell.

I feel that the story is being butchered in an extreme way... well all in all, i guess i feel content with the maid princess, she looks good after all

Too bad it got axed so early. That felt only a bit rushed, because we had not enough cases. But I'm with Serafita on this one. That was a surprisingly good ending for an axed series, really. That last case was very interesting and had that big final adventure feeling to it. While the axe rushed down on the manga too early, the last arc, in itself, didn't feel rushed at all IMHO. It was solid and had nice twists. Best executed final chapter of a shoot down manga I ever read.

@panzerkampfwagyu: I'm in total agreement with ya. Sometimes less is more or let them go in dignity.

Such a shame the ending was rushed.

Well what can you do when the series is axed early...

But to be fair it was handled quite well. It wasn't a completely unsatisfactory ending and it did resolve pretty much every plot point, so fair play to the author

I'd actually say it's the other way around. When has peaceful talk ever solved situations like this? In the end, it always comes down to violence.
The manga as a whole was entertaining and the elf was indeed made to be exaggeratedly villainous for story purposes, but let's be honest here: either elves decide to stand up for themselves and start a war, or they'll never get to be free and have their own land and country.

The story always was more on the episodic side so ending it like this is quite sufficient enough.

I liked it. Pretty decent place to end honestly, if it had kept going I think the shtick would have grown old.

Peaceful? Who said anything about peace? I meant mass murder never works for getting independence. They still gotta fight.

To gain independence from such powers, you need to inflict violence not on common people (like us peasants) but to use military force to shatter the government and the military of said power so thoroughly that they can not claim authority over you. Then afterward, you need support, resources and legitimacy to rebuild a government. Otherwise you end up with shit holes like Syria where the war drags on for ages with no clear winner and more people showing up to "help"

It ain't easy. There are plenty of morally bankrupt countries that will massacre disobedient citizens. Don't be fooled when countries like China, Turkey or Saudia Arabia say they wouldn't do it. This is the price of disobedience in those countries. In particular, I think a lot of people don't knot that modern China still loves disappearing people and murdering them out of sight. They also love to seize all your official papers so you're essentially unable to even leave your house or get bank accounts.
