Curious, I discovered this story a couple weeks ago and now it resurrected.
I had already checked on the novel raws as there was little hope of it returning.

A little bit of info for who is curious

the sword hero powers are extremely strong, but they are bound to serving the king, he can't simply unleash them nilly willy, the trade-off is very fair, when he looked at the king it was to affirm the order as the elf can say what they want, but it doesn't count, he is literally "the king sword", and his sis power is something that grants him/both absolute defense, another reason they can't be separated

You think it's just the toys, but it's weapons, armours and barriers as well.
Meaning, if they defy Elves, not only they would become weaker because all there weapons won't supported, but even systems which protect their nation would be disabled.
Plus, Elves would probably launch an attack on Humans and enslave them easily with their superior power and magical tools (currently Humans are free though under background control of the Elves).

Practically it's like US controlling and providing defense weaponry to EU, but now they had withdrawn it, so EU is now scrambling away to do something or else Russia might attack and takeover them.
