As a modern person and a businessman, him giving away his ideas to another store before even applying them to his own just comes off goofy and unrealistic. If they were writing all this about his own store and not some randos it'd make much more sense.

well, he's not hurting for cash tho if he 'converted' more ppl maybe he can have some weak 'cutesy' monsters in more places since he can't adopt them all unless he ends up buying/building like a large mansion full of pets lol (plus he'd prolly wanna make sure all of Arts' cats able to enjoy themselves too rather than just being 'helpers')
