It actually is ! The latest raw chapter came out 2 weeks ago.
=> The only minus is that this manga usually releases half chapters...
I don't know why they skipped chapter 12 and 13 though. That's just dumb. Not to mention that I've seen the missing chapters translated on other sites.

Make compost and use it in an area that has just been deforested, I have rarely seen something so useless... "smart" MC, but the author knows nothing so...
In addition to being useless it could even be counterproductive, making the soil too rich for what is planted.
I know potatoes quickly deplete the soil, but a forest with 500-year-old trees you can plant potatoes for a few years before you run out of nutrients and that even by killing life in the soil, which won't be the case here.
And there have even been studies that show you can create soil by planting potatoes. there is no need to make compost, you can put leaves and branches above the potatoes, you will produce potatoes and soil.

All fair points, but I think an important note is that he hasn't been depicted as particularly smart. Sure he's not a complete idiot, but he was basically a standard office worker before the isekai, he literally doesn't know how to do most of this stuff aside from vague guesses. The big saving grace for him is that his magic seems to at least a life of its own for doing stuff, mainly through the golem now, and he apparently has so much of it that it can basically cover for any fuck ups he might do.
