Home Hero Scans have been continuously "late." So late, they effectively killed interest on the series when the anime was actually running because it was months before a new chapter actually came out. Who cares who translate at this point.
Its so hilarious when scan groups think they got dibs on a series and cry when somebody translates.
It's less that they are late, but that they are "dead". All their series got pick up by official. While official is lacking, recent wave of wipe seem to put them in a "why bother anymore" state. So they definitely not crying over others picking it up. Maybe just annoyed reading over it.

That being said, maybe I'm just old, but aside from this case where they announce, just not here, "standard courtesy" is full MIA for 3+ months. Stuff like no social media contact, site down, discord down, etc. This can shorten by just try to contact them, then there would be less drama with "loyalist", who are more used to (in most case) better quality translation.
Unless it comicdom. Please retranslated those series.
