my first thought is that was a bound ghost of a man that searching for a medicine for his wife, he died in the forest while searching, and then turned into a ghost that keep searching for eternity
Yeah okay. So he decides to engage in Astral Projection to go find herbs for his dying wife... and then somehow transmits physical herbs with him back to his body.
Is this one of those things that makes cultural sense in Japan but just seems batshit crazy elsewise?
@SotiCoto - no, it doesn't exactly make much sense in Japan either. It's one of those fanciful elements of fantasy that make it look more dreamy and mysterious.
Also, the man doesn't seem to be in control of the situation, given he can't even speak properly, so it's probably spontaneous magic.
Probably because of my childhood I'm always confused when people say they can't swim, I mean my uncle thrown me in the middle of a alligator infested water and then told me to swim back to shore when I was a little, little kid lloll perhaps I just had a fucked up childhood?
I told my niece I don’t like mermaids not because they’re fantasy, I said ”well they’re pretty, sexy and all but if they smell like your dad’s feet I’m gonna have to pass on that, must be fishy down there” 😂
