toiri had his own challenges. remember, he wasn't actually interested in mysteries at all, he's just smart. he likes them because yuriko likes them, and did everything to be around her.

Look, the reason she doesnt want Iris to be a member is that would make her the 4th member and that would turn it into a official club.
This is not about "loving mysteries", its about Yuriko not wanting to turn the mystery club into a official club.
