You’re absolutely right about it not being a matter to argue, especially in hindsight of this being a manga forum. I also feel strongly with this, but have experienced things in such a way, that it 100% leads to me coming off way too mean spirited/blunt about it. Focusing efforts for prevention is absolutely the best take away.

I was honestly hesitant to continue when you mentioned about it "not being an appropriate topic in a manga forum" (hence the delay) as I realized I spoke more than needed and went off-topic so I was scrambling my brains figuring out how to continue the discussion while keeping it grounded on the manga. Guys! I would strongly recommend you Do NOT Post site addresses for the web novel! They always end up getting shut down due to the copyright laws and the people enforcing it! Their moderators are always reading sites like this and They’ve already shut down at least three different other websites like ‘Requiem Translations’ this way! So no matter how much you want to help them out, be careful about posting where you can read them!

It’s not just that one time. She seems to inadvertently run into both of them quite a bit in LN and WN, but it’s always from a distance, and to remind Miyuki of everything she threw away. She only ever interacts with Eiji once and that’s when he brutally rejects her and she so far has interacted with Ai like twice. Once in the park and the other time in the stairwell to the roof.

Yeah, the manga is dragging on kinda slowly compared to other series… I mean we’ve only seen 6 chapters in the past year, so that averages out to 1 chapter every 2 months. I’m guessing that they only have very few people who are actually working on the manga side because they have over 300 chapters in the LN and we’re currently running through events that were from chapters 29-31. God knows that if they got more people to speed up the delivery process, they won’t run out of source material anytime soon… seeing that the LN author adds 1 chapter per week. (they’re currently on a 2 week hiatus)

just read the next manga chapter coming out… And this is when Kondo gets his first reality check that he is NOT the great ace that he thinks he is! He goes to play against a college varsity team, and played good against the back up team… But afterwards Kondo was pitted against more experienced players, which he doesn’t fare nearly as well as he hoped to! Later when he listened to the coach’s private conversation with the star player, who pretty much told the coach an accurate evaluation of Kondo’s performane! The player observed that Kondo may be a high school king, but in reality he was only just the biggest fish in his little pond. They noted that Kondo gives up way too easily whenever he loses the ball, doesn’t work well or coordinate with the other players and is too self centered! They decided that Kondo needs lots more training and practice, which given his bad attitude that he would probably find a way to ditch out of or not take seriously. And ’IF’ they choose to put Kondo on the college team roster, it will be for him to rot on the bench as a ‘Beta team’ member on the secondary team and not a main player like Kondo thought he deserved! Furious with what he heard, Kondo messaged Miyuki to meet up with her… and it seems that we’re moving to the chapters where they will finally get caught!

You wanna vent, man? I'm not about to give you some empty optimism here because I found that people who try to twist unconfortable conversations into happy stories are more concerned with their own feelings (even if they mean well) of wanting happy thoughts and smiling photographs framed all around them all the time (even if they'll only stop to look at them ocasionally) over the bad feelings of the other party, that could use the acknowledgement. Or something, idk, maybe that's a lot more specific than I'm making it out to be.
