She confesses when he DOES ask why she did it, was because she was SCARED of losing her reputation! The very thing she cared for BECAUSE it was a means to an end to STAND by Eiji side! In the end it wasn't about Kondo (Well Partially), as she would be revealed as said as a Cheater if she told the truth! Even after THIS where she POSSIBLY got Eiji into WORSE TROUBLE! The stupid tart still thought that "Perfect Future of her and Eiji was still obtainable! It's only AFTER she finds out about his suicide attempt, Kondo FINALLY revealing the painful obvious that she was a plaything and she was STUPID to ever think she wasn't along with WHAT TOOK HER SO LONG IDIOT! Eiji finally telling her to go away when they DO MEET because he rather be INDIFFERENT to her now and keep his good memories of her past self before this And Ai calling her out when she DOES try to take the swan dive Eiji almost did, thankfully Ai was suspicious and kept an eye on her! Doing the same thing for her that she did for Eiji, though her's is FAR LESS NICER for obvious reasons!

So when the Teacher tells her, her FATE that she is going to be EXPELLED, it doesn't HURT as much for her....because she's now NUMB to any further ruination at that point! Especially since at that point EVERYONE in the school, including her female friend KNOW she lied about Eiji and was a cheater! The chapter afterwards where she's getting Text Messages calling her out for lying, and Cat-call messages meant to MOCK her as a discovered SLUT barely faze her since she knows she deserves it, and Eiji went through WORSE, she has no right to complain or cry she tells herself

Thanks for sharing what happens later. I completely understand your viewpoint. I would love to see Miyuki in that state as well, but it is bound to become monotone after some time. She doesn't need any redemption arc, or any arc, to be honest. Just allow her to leave this story and be forgotten once and for all. We tend to wallow over the fact that we don't get to see the future of certain characters in other series, but for this one, I'll be glad if the author forgot about Miyuki and didn't mention her ever again, except for maybe just a footnote at the very end.

I just think at some point it's time to move on. What she was about to do to the MC happened to her instead, she's got her just desserts there is no reason to really show her anymore.

I can see why people who have not read the WN hate on Miyuki at this point, as that is youth's privilege to hold fully formed opinions based on very limited information. However, life isn't black and white, and the one thing that most of the haters fail to accept is that Miyuki is totally naïve. She is not evil, she is not the spawn of Satan and his minions, she is just a kid who was lured in, exploited and then kept making panicked choices that caused more damage. She is just a quiet, naïve girl who was putty for a couple of absolute psychopaths, and she never stood a chance. There is some incel energy around the fury aimed at her. To think that she is worse than Kondo is just messed up, and people thinking that need to take a real hard look at themselves.

Alot of people are hating on Miyuki but you have to remember she is but a child who is being pulled along and simply trying to protect herself. At this time she has no clue the errors of what she is doing not only taking things for granted but also being peered pressured into not going against everyone else either. Most people when committing a mistake like Miyuki will just double down and make things worse for themselves instead of actually properly fixing what they did wrong. It wont be until it's too late for her that she finally realizes how dumb she was and how much she has lost. The worse part is once she realizes her wrongs she has no clue how to start making ammends and just ends up wallowing in despair as at that point the one she wrong, Eiji, does not even want anything to do with her anymore. Ontop of the fact there is no one left on her side to even guide her back onto the proper path.



While I do not condone the things she's done as well as her inactions to stop the bullying, I do believe in giving her a second chance at life and that the amount she has suffered and lost is vastly disproportionate to the sins she's commited. More so when she is properly reflecting on her actions and has fully commited to accepting any and all punishments directed her way.

Why is Miyuki the one only being defended and being given 'she's just a child and naive' excuse when all perpetrators are minors including Kondo?

If you are going to defend her with that reasoning then defend all of them as well-especially those who only did online slander but got filed a civil case against them as mentioned in the latest WN chapter. They got the short end of the stick imo.

I think they might have confused, at best there was one, the Gym Teacher who yelled at Eiji, but that was done because Eiji was somewhere where he wasn't suppose to be at and it was when he was in his suicidal mindset, said Teacher was remorseful the second he was made aware of what Eiji might have been in the mindset of that moment. Maybe they confused Tachibana for that Teacher!

By that I mean Tachibana is the Mastermind behind Kondo by the way, she's the one who send him after Miyuki just to get at Eiji. She's Eiji's Sempai and the President of the Literature Club! By the way other then TWO MEMBERS who were not in school during the period Kondo Defamed Eiji to this point of the story who are 100% on Eiji's side, the rest under HER WATCH were on her side, even the "don't come back" message to him was by her command, the point was to make him feel HOPELESS. Now the two POS (Kondo and Tachibana) never meant for him to commit suicide, but they were HOPING he'd drop out, for Tachibana, it would CRUSH Eiji's talent and drive to write....all because he was a better writer then she was! This chick has PROBLEMS....especially when you find out this wasn't the first time she USED Kondo to destroy relationships!

Remember that girl, Eri from Kondo's Flashback, the FIRST Victim of his! Yeah that was by Tachibana as well, she and Kondo knew each other VERY LONG, and he send her to ruin Eri's life......because she was better at her in Grades! The chick is a FUCKING Sociopath I swear! It's better to say SHE is Eiji's nemesis then Kondo ever was! Seeing how Eiji and Kondo seem to NEVER MEET AGAIN after Chapter 1 as Kondo's life falls apart because turns out.....that Otaku kid who he turned Eri against! That in the end, Miyuki admitted that she KNEW she was in the wrong for cheating in the first place! She KNEW it was wrong, yet did it because "she couldn't let such an offer go so easily!" meaning she's not INNOCENT! She thought she'd "have fun with Kondo" figuring she can "bring her EXPERIENCES" to Eiji later when "they finally do it!" And Kondo would graduate since he's a senior obviously and she'd "never see him again!" She was NAIVE to assume she'd never get caught seeing how she got caught SO MANY FUCKING TIMES! From Ms. Aono catching her to EIJI catching her because she couldn't stop herself from "cheating on him on his FUCKING BIRTHDAY!" Seriously on that she FORGOT she was ALWAYS THERE FOR EACH OF THEIR BIRTHDAYS so what made her think he'd NEVER find it weird that she "skipped out" like she did! And as shown, she wasn't this "Master Manipulator she thought she was!" Her face expression in her DESPERATION to lie to the Teacher said it all! Instead of "Kondo took a picture of an injury he gave ME and then claimed Eiji did it when he promised he would never reveal it unless Eiji pushed him!" Instead it looks like she "conspired" with him to frame Eiji so she herself could avoid being exposed as a Cheater, instead Eiji would be "exposed" as a creepy stalker abuser Instead! That WASN'T what she wanted, but the second she gave KONDO control, that's what was GOING to happen!

It's SO FUCKING ANNOYING how much KONDO has to do and the GOAT OF THE STORY's Actions exposing Kondo that has to DONE before Miyuki FINALLY stops "Defending" Kondo and realize "}He was a horrible person for propositioning her DESPITE just meeting and knowing she was in a relationship.....and she was to for CONSIDERING!

Even if you take out Kondo's REAL REASONING for persuing her where this was ALWAYS meant to end in her and Eiji's ruination! She really thought she would do all I listed before and Kondo would just be "the hunky guy who REALLY took her first time that she had sex with in High School and a DEEP SECRET she can giggle to herself Eiji will never find out about" like so many OTHER Cheaters who have "Pikachu shocked face syndrome" when their PAST CHEATING gets found out and DESPITE DECADES OF RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE, turns out their partner IS willing to divorce them over it! I hate those "it was so long ago, why are you hung up on that" acting like it was NO BIG DEAL and their betrayed partner shouldn't be mad because "oh that was in the far past, and I loved you this long RIGHT!" Without acknowledging they were LYING all this time for SELFISH REASONING! A Relationship no matter HOW LONG can IMPLODE, even if the other party "lets it go" because of Deception that was in the FOUNDATION left there for YEARS! That never should have been there in the first place! It's one thing not to get mad if you were a SLUT before one got together as that was BEFORE the relationship! Being a Slut DURING IT however is a different story as that is RELATIONSHIP KILLING DECEIT! How much MORE were you LYING!
