I love the seesaw of this series between the heartfelt gut punches in Chihara's smile and opening up and blunt (if a bit opaque) affection for Kuroki, alongside Kuroki's own gradual tumbling into more and more overt love with Chihara -
And the other side being the Absurdist silliness of "oh she put on the wrong shoes for it to start snowing all of a sudden".

And the series handles the two very distinct forms of storytelling, very well, and forges them together into a very, very cute story.
