the story really feels like it's jumping around too much this arc. we just keep skipping over things and now all of the sudden we're already at the dungeon entrance. i bet next chapter we'll be at the half way point and in the next 2 chapters after that we'll be wrapping up this whole arc and getting ready to start the next arc.

If I recall from previous chapter, MC mistook what the his step father said, but I think it meant that he will eventually marry Char (After overthrowing the King and his horrible mother) because she is a Queen candidate because MC is still the first prince after all.

I am not sure that the stepfather wants Char to marry Haruto since they were raised as siblings but I think what he meant: was that he wanted Haruto (The true Heir to the thrown) to take his rightful place and become the next ruler. I believe this because I think that the stepfather already realizes that Haruto is Shiva or the Dark Knight and for some reason even though his power level is 02 he is much stronger. Unfortunately, Haruto misunderstood what the stepfather said and thought, due to Char's power level rivaling the current Queens, he wanted Char to become the next ruler once she became an adult.
