It's because there's not enough money to go around. If Mangaka were paid better (because more people bought their stuff) they'd be able to afford a team of assistants to do most of the heavy lifting and they could all do their 9 to 5. A lot of Mangaka DO hire assistants to reduce their workload, but less sales = less money = less employees.No... my trainwreck...
