It’s not an issue of them getting a backstory, it’s the fact that they’ve been dead for a hundred chapters and these backstories are clearly just here to make the manga go on longer when we should’ve been done a long ass time ago.

This is a problem with manga in general about not wanting to end.

It would benefit the author more to wrap it hp and do another story from a new perspective. Be it the mc's kid going through shit. Or some other characters. You get to keep the story going but without dragging it on
