@poweranger11 Only a minority of girls like Yaoi. And they are the loudest so it makes people have the impression that all girls like them but it is not true. There are girls who despite Yaoi like me. Among my female friends who like manga/anime, there is only one girl like Yaoi. Other girls are into shoujo romance.

@HungryIm Yuri and Yaoi manga/anime aim at straight people with the purpose of fetishizing homosexuality. There are plenty of people who read those and have the wrong ideas about LGBT. They only interest in the hot sex. In those Yuri and Yaoi, rape, force sex, pedophilia, incest, etc. are common. They aren't something to be taken seriously about this matter.
Also what shippers like to think as Yuri or BL hint/atmosphere in mainstream popular series are just normal friendship or familial love. Shippers just delude themselves into thinking those interactions are romantic but non-shippers don't see anything.
