This is so on the nose that I just can't get into it. It comes right out of the gate beating you over the head with its themes. It feels like the author is just dumping their thoughts onto the page with no regard for how that affects the story.
Like, "Hey guys, did you know that men are awful and boring, but women are just the best in every way?" I wonder if the cheating element is even going to be addressed.
Run Away With Me Girl did a good job of giving the married woman a justification and motivation for seeking intimacy outside of her marriage. She wasn't just bored of her husband and chasing a random woman. It was someone from her past who she knew loved her, and she was stuck with a man whose true nature killed all the love she had for him. Can't recommend it enough if you want something like this with more depth to it.
Granted, this is only the first chapter, but it's a rough first chapter.
