Wow... and i felt sad when this guy supposedly died in the circus battle... Fujita-sensei had me pegged this entire time and the funny thing is i suspected Faceless back when his first appeared but when story progressed i just forgot and thought i was being paranoid, now here i am complete without words, sincerely i don't know how they will win this, the author will need to pull some batshit crazy plot to twist all of this but from now on i won't ever again doubt Fujita-sensei capacity to fuck with my mind and feelings.

Only problem I have with Faceless reappearing to be the latest reincarnation of the man who was built up to be the big villain is... Faceless' "backstory".
When he died I thougth it was too soon for such an interesting character to go, but the backstory he told in his last moments felt honest and it doesn't really add up. Not sure why he seemed to care(?) about Narumi either.
Unless there is more to know, the seemingly sincere telling of his backstory feels like a flaw in the writing, like a lie to the reader (rather than a pointless lie to Narumi).

@Pariston Remember that faceless told Narumi his story from his perspective and weaving truths with lies. He became a kind of jokester on the 9 years it passed since he kidnapped Francine probably as a way to cope with his internal issues. Then he mentions Angelina and how they were close(but Angelina only saw him as a close friend) after being reincarnated on the Bai child but her mother separated them and shows how she got married on a far away land to an automation (Shouji, bonus points that the automaton depicted has Shouji's siluette). THEN he switches Angeline with doll Francine that fall into the well and melts into the aqua vitae to save Eleonor that now has both Francine's memories due to drinking the water accidentally
