I was waiting for Sein to use his magic eye, but it was really satisfying that there is actually a severe feedback this time because probably not only is she higher or level than Sein, maybe it's also an additional effect of the spirits protecting her. Sein's eyes almost bursting out with blood was just so good.

if you know that the hero is an acquaintance of MC then you should know what he's done and what kind of person he is. all the more reason to kill him and not let him escape alive.

Well, to the Elves, that guy didn't do any harm yet.
So, they have no reason to punish him for the sake of others.
A Human who committed crimes against Humans should be punished by Humans (that's probably the notion the Elves have, or any country would have).

It's like in real life when a person with criminal history in one country can take refuge in another country as long as they don't have criminal history in that other country (know about this as many criminals from my country had escaped to countries like US or UK, and the Government is always on talks for years to get those criminals deported, but US/UK doesn't always agree).
