Honestly, this turned out to be real bad. Quite unexpected as it had a strong and interesting start, but it fell to the usual japanese fetishes of 80% of the time is for some stupid reason focused on irrelevant characters which you can't even excuse for world building instead of mc and his antics,you know, the main fucking reason we're even reading this.

If I remember right, the initial format of this Series wasn't well received as I heard rumours about this Manga getting cancelled before the end even the 1st arc with that Village Apothecary girl.
Them going this route and the story is still ongoing means that readers of this series in Japan prefer this than the original setting.
