How is she even meant to be so imposing? I've seen this trope plenty of times but it usually comes with some exaggerated thing to show how people are so scared. Like perma-resting bitch face, or similar. She just looks like a normal girl? This has been bothering me the whole time but it's really stressing my suspension of disbelief that this has been going on her entire life and literally everyone around her when she clearly doesn't look abnormal at all.
Anyway I'm still hoping our ojou-sama girl will go on the assault at school and put the bitches in their place.
Good point because she is super pretty (according to yuka ❤️), but I don’t think it went on her entire life.
It seems it only started when she was 14 years old Because that’s when she began helping her grandma with more manual jobs (such as picking up groceries from what I assume are night markets (where the supply is cheaper)).
So it wasn’t her face, even in chapter 1 the flashback shows that her past ‘friends’ told her she has a nice face. It’s the stigma that she is a weird/bad kid who runs around at night coupled with her height and bags under her eyes.
Honestly reminds me of a dude from highschool who everyone swore was a drug dealer and skipped class but it turns out he worked 3 jobs RIP.
