Sooo I wasn't sure because the translations were jumping around for a bit, but I take it the implication is that we have Columbo's nephew in the story now? For real?

@solchimes He's always supposed to be his nephew, where does it say otherwise? Might have been a proofreading oversight.

@Gent One of the previous chapters said "cousin" instead but it's fine, I was more surprised we got another detective's family member "cameo". Not sure he ever came back either, what a pity!

@solchimes Thanks for pointing it out, I've fixed it now. And yeah, I guess Colombo's supposed to be a kind of rival to Kindaichi, he's the only detective about his age, and is a relative of a famous detective. He also has a little 1v1 battle vs him in Ch.8.
