So a sociopath that is probably from a clan of the strongest humans who only values strength, standard. The wierd one is the class rep girl, I don't know if something was lost in translation, but, people who talk about "It doesn't seem real." fall into two categories, those removed from the conflict, which she obviously is not, or those who have been so traumatized by their experiences that they have lost the ability to feel. But maybe I'm putting too much thought into it, maybe the author's just trying to cram as much teenage angst into this novel as possible, without regard to trying to depict a realistic reaction to war, or the glasses girl is just crazy. I mean seriously: she thinks that Prayer pushes other people away so that she doesn't have to feel sad when other people die? Breaking people's arms is not what you do when you push people away for their own good. I look forward to seeing which explanation it turns out to be.
