If you’re going to keep getting bent out of shape for a person doing comparable work to your own, at least try to be like them and care about catching up. Side by side I don’t notice much difference in chapters except for how some things are phrased, usually with the exact same shit just reworded.

I've never understood the whole "sniping" thing, I guess it's important for clout or whatever between scan groups? As a reader I don't see any issue with multiple versions being out there to choose from. If I could offer a suggestion to this group, maybe if they wanted to regain "control" of the series again they should start translating the newest chapter, and then fill in the gap later if they have some spare time. That way readers who want to support you don't have to try to ignore a whole months worth of the story progress at all times.

Nobody cares about your made up dramas with another translator. Keep that to yourself. If you want people to read your translations get up to date with the release...

I can understand being frustrated at a snipe or the like but if you're going to make personal attacks over MTL you should start by making a translation that's different from the MTL. Or pointing out where the MTL version is wrong. Just saying "theirs is worse!" doesn't prove anything to me but that you're angry over it.

The other has slightly more grammatical errors. That’s all. Nothing that gets in the way of understanding. Just declensions.

only issue I had with either is one had Midou’s say that holding Hiura’s hand “feels wrong”, when it’s better as “different“. I don’t even remember who did it.

Not sure why people here keep bringing up “clout” but I just don’t want to support someone who hops on translating something that’s already being translated, even if it’s faster. Just seems wasteful.
