Well.. she knew him before, it's kinda implied he was the first man in her life that treated her with kindness, not hard to see her falling for him, kinda like young girls irl sometimes fall for an older man (mostly but not exclusively because they lacked a father figure like in this case and at teenage age when hormones are doing their thing it makes them more likely to get romantic feelings instead of just seeing them as a father/ proper man figure).

It is a good thing that he was able to form a relationship before she tried anything for his and her sake (tho if he was really that good i would see him reject her anyway) but very unlucky part is that it's with her mother so she will still be seeing him from time to time even when she lives alone, if there were actually feelings involved hopefully she can heal from this and see him as a father instead.

If anything this chapter just made her more interesting than the main pair, as much as i would like for her to end up with Fuyuki if the implication here is that she might have feelings for her we all know that it "probably" won't happen from what we can see so far, just hope ending for her is good and she is not thrown to the background later.

Yeah, pretty much. You can read about it back in Chapter 9—Kisaki left home because of their marriage.

Yeah, she said this all the way back when the agreement with Fuyuki was made. She also made explicit that she doesn't care about her partners' gender. The only new information we got from this extra was her absolutely terrible home life before her mother turned their lives around... By landing an actual nice guy.

It feels like this sort of explains why she's so antagonistic towards Eri- she basically repeats the same patterns as Senpai's mom.
It's sweet to get a reminder of how much she values Fuyuki, since the story mostly shows Fuyuki leaning on her.
