"This is fishy, she must have put something in it"
Yes, and that's what actually healed the guy. Even if she put illegal drugs in her potions, wouldn't be fine so long as it heals people? :thonk:
If it's a rare item that most of her blue potions don't have, that she slipped into that one specifically for demonstration, then no, it wouldn't have been fine.

Moreover, if it's a non-standard ingredient, then who knows what side-effects it might have? This is a fantasy world after all. A potion that turns you into a werewolf or something would certainly seem to superficially heal you, but would definitely be worse in the long run. Moreover, something like that would explain why she's wanted.

Green Haired girl's suspicions are super hypocritical, but not altogether unreasonable given what she knows.

Of course the guy asks the woman who just got demolished by the heroine she tried to discredit a moment ago.

So the green potion girl was selling actual potions, right?

her reaction made it seem like mc s potions are out of the ordinary and hers are just average (even if she was selling them as somewhat above average)

I think so. She's a traditional shoujo villain who is feminine and manipulative, but her reaction and statements make a lot of sense as someone who's makin' normal-ass potions while Rita and her brother are working magic.

Wait... wanted list?
Wanted doesn't always mean for a crime

Potions have quality. Think in game, lesser and greater. Rita's potions are greater ones. Her potions are lesser ones. She has been selling lesser as high quality ones. Remember to them this is not a game, so there likely isn't a general classification of potions. Just some make better than others and get reputation. The green potions are average potions just heated so color is green. But she was pretending her potions are higher quality than average when they aren't. Rita's potions are high quality greater potions. Though they probably don't have a big reputation due to her brother being young and little connections. Of course it is possible Rita upped the quality of her brothers potions through hints from the guide

Think of it like when you see pictures of the food on packaging and how it doesn't look like that in reality. She likely thinks she must have used a rare ingredient to upsell the average potions. So while that one healed so well, the ones actually sold she thinks are no better than hers

The real deal is Sana's brother tbh, he brewed all potions so far. But its to wonder if Sana also have this talent because in the original plot she gives the hero some recovery potions + 5000 money for avenging her brother.

Green potion girl should have said "My potions just took a bit longer to work! See the marvels of our recovery potion in action!", cue applause and more sales as MC feels relief to the victim's safety rather than ire at her BS, then her sham gets exposed in the story later on.

I'm not exactly rooting for bad guys, but I can't stand one-dimensional villains that can't think on their feet and is just there to insert drama in the story.
She's probaaaably just not a super smart and/or charismatic supervillain. Most people aren't replying with tactics they thought about later in the shower under zero pressure, so to speak. Improv is hard.

As for one dimensional, kinda early to assume one-dimensional because they couldn't pivot the situation. It's like saying Darth Vader is one-dimensional because you saw him for the first time and he just kinda kills dudes.

SMH this fake green girl better not cause too much trouble.
she's gonna get rekt. our heroine is gonna play a dangerous game of sending heroes who are jealous of each other to do RPG party deeds and RPG parties usually have 4 members...

Prince probably put out a bounty for her but remember not all bounties are dead or alive, some are just dead and others are just alive. Or it's going to be a different red head.

If the festival is in the guide book, so Tsubasa is here! The way things are going, Sana and her (future 'Dark Dancer') friend ended up in the middle of the Hero's initial conflict with the Prince.
