Gotta wonder if the MC worked at host bar in his youth he’s too good at talking lol

Which feels like it doesn't mesh with his apparent inability to hold down deeper friendships or relationships.

The fact that 2.5 women (Sasa still feels a bit ambiguous at present) now pining after him--turning this into a pseudo-harem manga, no less--when he presents himself as so boring and "stuck in the day-to-day" of just existing sorta stretches credibility.

I read a bit ahead, and the chapters and interactions with Sasa are funny, but please author, please! Don't insist on the convention that the two main protagonists must end together.
Wouldn't be nice if Rintaro and Rio started going out?

I hope this manager thing is just the desperation and the alcohol talking. Don't really want a triangle since I think the point of this series is the interactions between Sasa and MC. I see this as a setup for manager, Sasa and MC to be in the same place, manager going "Wha--"

Two people close in age, feeling alone, wanting a relationship, can't get into one because they don't have time to meet people, they actually meet and one wonder that wouldn't be bad if they got together.
A natural path.

She's drunk, desperate, and really, REALLY lonely. Anyone with the bare minimum requirements of acting nice and looking decent will get her at that exact moment.
