I knew she was doing this out of angry jealousy and hatred and not because she genuinely is falling for her student (at least from this juncture).

Which, interesting twist on the "sensei/student illicit relationship" trope. Him being actually in love with (or infatuated with) his sensei, while she's now going to ruin him out of envy for his apparent ease and talent, makes this way messier than expected.

I wonder how Kaede will get roped into this. Stumbling into their secret randomly? Confided in by either student or teacher? Hears about it from gossip among students and intervenes on her own?

Looking forward to what all goes down. This could easily turn into a major deal, even if Best Case is sensei "merely" losing her job.

No, they are not. It's a anthology series that is focusing on different students and teachers and their relationships. The lesbian teacher just happened to be the first one. They are not the main character, and their relationship is no where close to the focus of the series. This is not a GL series and if it weren't for the GL genre tag it probably would not have such a terrible rating.

Pretty sure the forum reactions are not meant to be insulting, giving a "dumb" react to a post is just saying that the contents of the post is dumb, it's not a personal attack saying the poster is stupid/mentally impaired/a "fucking moron" or whatever. Also, personal attacks are literally against Rule 1 of the MangaDex forums, so it's pretty reasonable to me to expect not to have people writing insults at me in these comments.

Anyway your points that the GL tag is a genre tag not a content tag and that this series is an anthology are fair, but adding all this immature derogatory name-calling to your posts just makes you look like someone who can't be reasoned with, so no-one's going to bother engaging with your actual argument.

So while there are definite arcs centered on newly-introduced characters, this does still follow Kaede as she deals with the challenges of teaching and relationships and uses the other arcs & characters to further flesh out her story.

And given Kaede's gay and factors into every story told thus far, I'd call her a main character, and thus this is a GL series even as other non-gay relationships are present.

Beyond that - keep being needlessly hostile, I guess. Thought maybe you came off too strong without meaning to at first, but I guess you're one of those who see the Internet's anonymity as an excuse to have as shitty an attitude as possible while avoiding accountability.

So I'll just make a note that going forward you're not worth the time it takes to type a response and let you continue malding in solitude while others have enjoy the stories being told here.

Hey, thanks for defending me, etc. I wasn't going to respond to him anyway, b/c when people get like that, they're just looking for a fight and not wanting to engage in any sort of decent conversation. You can't change their minds, so don't even bother. Just so you'll know, I'm not pissed or mad or anything... I've just been around this site long enough (and I'm also a contrib) and I know what tags mean and what they don't mean. I know when they're supposed to be added, etc. Also, just so you know, this isn't an anthology. This is just a normal manga with multiple story arcs, just like you said. Anyway, I was p. much trying to head off any "take the GL tag off b/c there's GASP while clutching your pearls het in it (honestly b/c I didn't wanna deal with it - the tag won't be removed, so why even bother bitching about it, etc). It's not the way tags work. With the ratings tag, it's rated as it goes down the line. If a comic is completely rated R-7 and bam, there's a part of a chapter where there's partial nudity, etc, it automagically gets changed to suggestive, etc. regardless of the majority of the manga isn't like that. This chapter is why I changed it to suggestive. It's similar with GL and BL. If there's a somewhat decent amount of yuri but there's also het or even if there's yaoi, it gets either the GL or the BL tag. Now if it's just like one kiss or something between random mob characters, that doesn't count, but if mains or even important side characters have a decent amount of yuri or yaoi, then it gets either the GL or BL tag. Hopefully that clears up things as far as you (specifically) are concerned and for anybody else who has ever wondered. Keep on enjoying the manga, it's getting pretty toxic it seems (which is a good thing lol).

I just comment to correct misinformation/disinformation for third parties who read through but otherwise don't engage.

That they were also so hostile out of nowhere for no reason, just ended up being a point that I figured would prove effective in poking. Since they doubled down and made an ass of themselves on top of everything else, well.

She isn't the main character and her relationship is no where near the focus, the synopsis doesn't even mention her and only the description of volume one talks about how she is a teacher that helps others with their relationships despite having no experience herself. Doesn't even hint at her being gay. No where on any official site is this series being advertised as Yuri or GL.

Curious as to why you seem to completely miss (ignore?) that Kaede has a girlfriend, that she lives with, that also is a teacher, that was her previously-unrequited crush from her school days, and that their relationship does in fact get expanded upon, is relevant to the very first arc where they're both introduced, and they both get involved in the second story in preventing a student from killing herself over a breakup, sorta leads me to believe you actually don't know what you're talking about.

So yep. Keep malding. Not every story will be for you, and that's fine, but you betray your childishness in being so unable to simply put it down and not make a spectacle of yourself being verifiably incorrect over and over, and I can only wonder how you navigate your life if this is how you act over a story you aren't even forced to interact with.
