So the reincarnation served no point?
She could've easily just been an eccentric character in her own universe without the reincarnation.
I hope it serves some purpose in the future tho.
No it does. The purpose is SOLELY so she can just do whatever she wants (the title). She has no clue what kind of world she's in, whether it's based on a game or not, or who characters are, so she's like fuck it I'ma just do me. You can argue that an in-universe character could do that also, but humans don't just end up that way without influence - we're big empty vessels that soak up our surroundings.

On top of that, she has "unique" ideas due to her previous life experiences that also play into her thought processes, something you can't do without isekai as well.

Lazy isekai often do exactly as you said - having zero purpose especially when they act their age, but in this case it's required for the premise.

I think the point is to provide a young person with the mind of an adult. That way she can outwit adults and children while still being a child themselves. The reincarnation probably didn't have to be from our world though could have just been someone from long ago in their world.

Woah this is interesting. I would be happy if the manga continued. Doing it blindly is better than "oh i so know the next plot of this stories blahblah" 😄

I do have some concern with the apparent age gap, but they've done nothing uncomfortable with it so far. I hope it continues to stay this way until they are both comfortably into adulthood. If I see a sixteen year old girl marrying a twenty five year old guy (my rough estimate of the gap), I drop immediately.

I liked this far more than I was expecting. MC, the father, and the prince were all enjoyable characters.

Okay, it's pretty funny that she gets reincarnated into a completely new and unfamiliar historical pseudo-European setting, and is immediately like "Is this an otome game? I've never played one, but I read stories about people getting reincarnated into otome games all the time, so that's gotta be what this is, right?" It's weirdly meta, why wouldn't you just assume that it's a normal fantasy world, lmao.

It reminds me of the manhua I Think I Have Transmigrated Somewhere, where the protagonist gets reincarnated into a manhua-like fantasy world, but she's a big nerd who's binged dozens of generic fantasy romance reincarnation stories and they've all blurred together in her head, so she keeps trying to figure out which genre she's in and screwing it up. I just find it delightful that the genre has mutated in such a way that it's become fully self-referencing at this point.

This isn't going to to be abcase where there's not actually that much of an age gap and for whatever reason the artist just draws the male lead really tall as a child, is it? I hate that shit.

I still remember this one manhwa where the 12 year old regressor protag looked and acted like a 5 year old. It was cringe.

It’s just for comedy reasons, to subvert the expectations of a villainess reincarnation story. Without the isekai element, it would just be another villainess fantasy story, and the main character would not understand the concept of a villainess in the first place. At least not without a (pseudo) reincarnator heroine character to balls it up.

I hate isekai with a passion when it’s unnecessarily added to a serious fantasy story, but for a comedy, especially one that goes out of its way to subvert tropes, it doesn’t bother me. I love Fabiniku and Isekai Ojisan.

This looks like an alright story.
