I don't translate from Korean, I do directly from Japanese and I don't do MTL.

If you want to be legit, don't ever do MTLs. It's okay to use dictionaries, it's okay to use OCR to get some kanjis you don't know, but never depend on google or DeepL to do the whole thing.
If you really want to learn there are plenty of sources to study on your own or find classes you can attend to. For the self-study route the /djt/ at /int/ at 4chan is a good place to start, but it seems they changed their guide. https://pastebin.com/8yvbPEim
