although i don't remember much from the LN either (i left it right as a translator group that i don't like picked it up, and i didn't like it that much to mtl it), i know that a lot of things are different than the LN, for example at the start when the princess woke up and met up with the monsters in the throne room, the monsters voices took a huge chunk of her hp, and even cracks formed on the walls, that shows you how much stronger the mc's monsters are compered to the mc, but this did not happen in the manga.

i think that because of the changes the manga simply did not do well, so it got axed. i doubt it's what a lot of people call a LN ad, since there are a lot of small differences like this.

although it's not like the LN is that good either, it's just okay.
