to me it seems more like resigned. they've been in this situation for years after all, without the hope/chance of changing it.They also seem a little ominous, or at least oddly nonchalant about their daughter doing it.
It has been years now apparently. They're probably used to it.Imagine basically having to live in a separate asylum on your own property from the rest of your family. They also seem a little ominous, or at least oddly nonchalant about their daughter doing it.
NGL, I actually see this as a more reasonable pace for a relationship to develop. Typically manga portray dating as either a never ending slog of denial with brief moments of deredere embarrassment or you get the average harem trash that hookup as soon as they can find a vertical surface to fuck on. Yes I know I'm slightly exaggerating, but not by much.I can't tell if they make progress or not. First it seems like it was some misunderstanding or trying to set him up with her which gives her the chance but she runs off but then they have that sweet mood going on and a second later she's in denial like bruh just get engaged already. Her grandpa was all well and got sent to heaven before ths relationship is happening and I'd be so pissed if they make this be like one of those typical, ambiguous & unfulfilled romance
