As you can read it is written that she has to realize his love etc. as in as you can see from the early chaps alicia tried to push kai from her with he's not really his brother reasoning and i will die if i get too close blah2, and it actually, still continue even until he became emperor, as you can see from earlier chaps from this- So i am also on the boat that she still try to push him away in some way.

Well at least that's what i meant i understand thus also agreeing with.

I don’t really know how to word it, but it’s like she doesn’t have a strong bond with him. It’s apparent that he cares for her more than she does him. If it were her sister in the previous life, she seems like the sort that would do anything for her, but she estranges herself from her half brother.

Poor choice of words, but that’s the impression I’ve gotten so far. She cares for him, but not enough to prevent him from his own demise. I think she’ll eventually get there, acknowledging and loving him like family instead of someone she has to runaway from. So I what I really mean is treating him more like family.
