That's just stupid. A magical police force like our MC is doing now would be better than the Magic Nobles.. Hell, allowing a nepotistic system that can easily be corrupted seems like an obviously bad idea.

Yes, you want elites... but you don't need to give them nobility. Just make them a special elite force that anyone can join and be trained in....

I'm confused about when these nobles found out about his identity as the great sage. They're talking about his past identity pretty candidly here, and before that they seem way too surprised about his power level if they knew he's literally the sage who saved the world 50 years ago.
