He seriously in our world waited until he was 30 to become a "wizard" where even in the panel you can see it's just a Japanese 5th year he then gets transported to a world and becomes almost catatonic at the thought magic doesn't exist. If that isn't a serious mental issue I dunno what is. As for which mental issue specifically it could be several.

Him claiming to going work might not making him neither a NEET or social outcast tho'

You could also have weirder religious beliefs, like a spaguetti monster creating the world, or that all weather events in the world are controled by a fish called Pudge who lives in the coasts of Hawaii and likes eating peanut butter sandwiches.

Edit: the subsequent depression he suffered is a consequence of him finding his beliefs to be wrong and feeling like he has lost purpose in the world, it isn't caused by him believing in magic.

that was very hard to read but it's good that it's just a couple of panels right at the pilot chapter. not like that one isekai manga that i read and unfortunately can't remember so i can't link it here but fucking hell that shit was hard to read, man.
the premise is that after doing his job, right as his job time was over, he goes home right away to play the game he was gonna get transported to and before he was transported to the game, the game became a death game and he was the only survivor thus winning the game and as a reward, he was transported to the game but as a minor villain with a pig of a body. and even if he has the tenacity to survive the death game, the body he possessed was incredibly fucking depressed that he even absorbed that vibe and it just destroyed my every motivation to read that series since i even give it a read for 5 chapters and he's still pathetic af lmao.
