What mental issues? This isn't disappointed, this is serious mental issues. I can't take it as a joke cause they are writing it too seriously. I'm keep reading it but I dunno might drop soon.
He seriously in our world waited until he was 30 to become a "wizard" where even in the panel you can see it's just a Japanese 5th year he then gets transported to a world and becomes almost catatonic at the thought magic doesn't exist. If that isn't a serious mental issue I dunno what is. As for which mental issue specifically it could be several. What mental issues?
Probably a sort of introvert, social outcast, bullied or other reason why he doesn't get along with other people. Next chapter sort of hint this.He seriously in our world waited until he was 30 to become a "wizard" where even in the panel you can see it's just a Japanese 5th year he then gets transported to a world and becomes almost catatonic at the thought magic doesn't exist. Maybe he was just really passionate about magic, people have abstained from sex due to belief many times throughout history. Believing in magic doesn't affect his normal life nor cause him chronic stress, so you could count it as just another of the more than 4300 religions in the world.Probably a sort of introvert, social outcast, bullied or other reason why he doesn't get along with other people. It's not like first NEET or other kind of person that abstinent due to circumstances beyond their control in any relationship who got reincarnated, that trope is usually made for do-over fantasy or hope for a change.
Him claiming to going work might not making him neither a NEET or social outcast tho'
Yep, list of things people strongly believe is as crazy as things they believe.Maybe he was just really passionate about magic, people have abstained from sex due to belief many times throughout history. Believing in magic doesn't affect his normal life nor cause him chronic stress, so you could count it as just another of the more than 4300 religions in the world.
You could also have weirder religious beliefs, like a spaguetti monster creating the world, or that all weather events in the world are controled by a fish called Pudge who lives in the coasts of Hawaii and likes eating peanut butter sandwiches.
Edit: the subsequent depression he suffered is a consequence of him finding his beliefs to be wrong and feeling like he has lost purpose in the world, it isn't caused by him believing in magic.
It gets a LOT better. What a horrible first chapter. Maybe i am not the author target of market.
Oh, it gets a lot better, but...Oh wow, this is an interesting take. Too bad the art is blegh.
Maybe something a like Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei?I really don't care that he was obsessed with magic. It's fucking weird and all that. Sure, whatever. The story's got to have a gimmick somehow.
But behaving emotionally like a kid when you are 30+ y/o? ... Fucking why.
At least he was genuine in his sexual needs, this one... Not so sexual but wholesale's wholesome, pathetic (all the way platonic)Maybe something a like Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei?
