From the author's twitter, when asked if the series was yuri (Oct 2023): "It's a slapstick comedy full of girls! Whether or not it's yuri is up to the readers to decide 🙇‍♀️"
Do note that the Japanese definition of yuri is a lot broader than what people think it is, and does not necessarily have to involve romantic relationships.

Just so you know, I say the Japanese entertainment industry because they also do this kinda shit with actual underage girls, lol... Like having 17 y-os on gravure magazines.
