Valliere is a region in France and the name derives from "valley"(the French equivalent) or resident thereof. Google it and you get one of Louis XIV's mistresses.

I think La Valliere might be intended to be Lavariel. Lava for the magma blood or whatever and riel as in Ariel, a girl's name. Riel being feminine sounding on its own, just using Ariel as an example.

Lavariel sounds kind of like a name for the Angel of Fire or something.

Of course La [whatever] is also a kinda magical girl name archetype.
