There is a theory that Alikred is Delkira who sealed himself, since it's the name reversed. Then there's to consider that Sullivan, the closest servant to Delkira, chose Iruma specifically to make him his grandson, then guide him in the demon world and make him a candidate for next Demon King, so it may be part of Sullivan's plan.
