Because he totally got caught up in the moment and forgot too.

The other possibility I can think of is that he "forgot" so he'd have an excuse to visit Iruma soon after, possibly even use that time to swear allegiance too 🤔

It's hard to say whether or not Iruma will have the chance to tell his friends first or not. There'd be a lot of power in them protecting him even after they find out he's been keeping this big secret, but it'd be nice if Iruma was the one to get the chance to say it. Maybe Amy will spill the beans to Asmodeus and/or Clara, Azz will have a bit of a crisis over the information and Clara helps him to snap out of it, then, after confronting Iruma, Iruma decides everyone else should know now that he has more confidence thanks to Asmodeus and Clara accept him, or something to that effect 🤔

He is literally unable to say no to them. He is their servant for life, because he lost a duel. They are going to drop (more) clues about that throughout the series.

Kalego wore a skirt when he was in school. We don’t know why. He tamed Cerberus and got drippy af. That’s a bespoke, tailored outfit. The front of his top is curved to not mess with the balance of the seams. The mantle is custom.
He says outright that he is wearing both male and female clothing. He fought Opera to be the only one to wear that sort of fit.

We have no idea of most characters’ birth assignments.

Do you “dumb” reactors think no trans characters are in this manga already or incoming?
Poro-chan is onee. That identity involves gender identity aspects I do not understand, because I’m not part of the Japanese LGBT+ community, but Poro-chan is referred to as male and female at different times. My guess is the pronoun he(? I don’t know what to use) uses is “atashi“. Which is a femme pronoun. It’s common with onee people.

The only type of queer we don’t have is a medical/magical transition and/or dysphoria backstory (which I hope isn’t explanatory) trans person.


Well, we don’t know Opera’s situation. I want it to stay that way. I want the jump in time.

Ughhhh, I love this class of students so much- they're all so friendly and supportive of each other ;w; Iruma, Azz and Clara all collectively forgetting the point of the exam was so fitting honestly, and class wide sleepover is sooo cute.
I am cautiously optimistic about that ending though...could we potentially be getting some Opera lore? They may not be from that Many Ear clan but they do seem to have some similarities (acknowledging the "too many ears..." did make me laugh)

All this is happening and all I can think about is that Amali is either going to have advanced to rank 7 by the next time we see her, or her and iruma will be doing whatever they rank 7 exam is together.
After all, they've never really worked on a long term project together.

I would totally welcome this if Nishi does it. It would be an awesome way to see them work together and overcome a challenge that will strengthen their bond even more than it already is. And then Ameri can be excited that she can make a rather lovey-dovey mood happen.
